This year my practice has investigated the idea of social expectations within the subject of shelter, as a basic human need and right.I began by taking photographs of abandoned , boarded up houses and contrasted those images with abstract oil paintings conveying the idea of middle class acquisition, expectation and understanding.

Today is our first Fine Art team meeting with Ian Charlesworth, who will be joining us for the next year while Jane goes off to have her baby. We are all really excited about what the year holds and looking forward to welcoming new students and re-connecting with those returning....
